Founded by a young Mexican-American rancher and chef with deep roots in agriculture and a passion for sustainability, Lazy Dog Ranch reimagines what a working ranch can be. 

Our mission is to create a unique destination that brings people together through fine wine and mezcal, high-end Western hospitality, and meaningful experiences — all while honoring the land and giving back to the community.

At the heart of our operations are cutting-edge water conservation methods tailored to the desert climate. We utilize innovative rainwater harvesting systems, permaculture-inspired irrigation, and gray water recycling to ensure every drop of water is used wisely. These systems not only support our vineyards and livestock but also serve as a model for sustainable desert agriculture in the face of climate challenges.

Our ranch is home to more than just vineyards. Guests can enjoy ranch-raised beef, explore our one-of-a-kind beef jerky brand, and experience a thoughtfully designed community built from upcycled shipping containers. Visitors are invited to stay, dine, explore — and even adopt a rescue dog from our on-site shelter.
